Hey everyone! I'm CJ, the US National SAA of the Amazons WMC. Inc.  I live part of the year in North Carolina and the other part in the bush of Alaska where I work as a nurse.  I found the Amazons in 2004 when I returned from an overseas assignment with the Air Force.  It means so much to me to belong to a group of caring, smart and tough women who really get the whole motorcycling thing.  There is no time that I'm happier than when I'm riding in a pack with my Sisters...colors flyin!!

I started riding as a kid on dirt bikes...took my first solo ride at age 6 on a neighbor kids minibike.  I revved that thing up and rode about 50 feet and realized I had no idea how to turn or stop, so at the tender age of 6 I layed that minibike bike down.  Unfortunately my leg got stuck under the hot pipe and I burned the crap out of myself.  This was only bad cuz it meant my mom found out I was riding that &*%$# minibike that she told me not to.  I got grounded, but I thought my burn was pretty cool and I was hooked on motorcycles ever since.  Grew up around them and never got em out of my blood.

My first road riding experience was on the back of a Harley.    Although I loved seeing the world from the back seat,  I knew I had to learn to ride my own!  Started on the road years back riding a 600 cc Honda cruiser, worked my way through a couple more Hondas and fell in love with a Harley Lowrider and never looked back.  My current ride is my love.....2009 Harley Road King (Queen!) which I have turned into a full dresser.   This bike has already taken me across the country and back and this summer will carry me up through Canada with my Amazon Sisters.  I am on the road about 15,000 or more miles a year, mostly in long distance rides.  Hope to meet ya'll out on the road.  Keep the rubber down!!
